SHARED CAMPAIGN · LOCAL FUNDRAISING

Supporting those
supporting men.
Together.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Give local services
a national platform.

Good frontline work doesn’t always come with a national marketing budget. This project aims to level the fundraising playing field: one recognisable campaign, shared promotion and practical tools that help local services reach more supporters.

THE POWER OF PARTNERSHIP

One campaign.
A stronger sector.

Mates helping mates. A national platform with local impact.

Give frontline men’s services a stronger chance to fundraise, without each organisation having to build and promote a campaign alone. Shared infrastructure and a recognisable campaign brand could help level the playing field.

Mentoring Men is committed. Faded logos show other sector examples, not confirmed participants.

A SHARED AMBITION

One campaign.
More good.

The identity is under wraps.
Delivery + future campaign reserves

Money moves into the campaign, some stays for delivery and future campaigns, and funding flows out to services. The amounts and timing shown are illustrative, not allocations. Circle sizes show accumulated support in this animation; they reset for each new loop.

One platform. The support to make it work.

Illustrative sector representation only. Mentoring Men is committed to this project. The other logos show examples of Australian men’s organisations and services; their inclusion does not imply participation, partnership or endorsement. Funding arrangements and allocations would be agreed with participating organisations.

A shared platform.
Practical local support.

We’re exploring participation packages, with options ranging from access to the campaign brand, shared portal and tools to dedicated campaign officer support. The model would help services activate their own communities while building the campaign’s collective reach.

The package structure, costs, support levels and funding rules still need to be agreed. Seed funding would get the campaign up and running and back the team delivering it; it would also help establish a platform that can support future campaigns.

Part of the project is to explore how Mentoring Men’s DGR status and donation or auspicing arrangements could support eligible grassroots work. We would design how people support the shared campaign or express a preference for a local organisation, how funds are allocated, and when eligible gifts could receive a tax-deductible receipt.

Our ambition is bigger than a campaign for one organisation. It is a stronger national fundraising platform for the services already supporting men in their communities.

BUILDING ON EXPERIENCE

We’ve brought
people together
before.

Our 2025 Meet a Mate campaign, delivered with The Man Walk, gave us valuable experience in bringing organisations together around a shared message.

Its success and the lessons we learnt about collaboration, promotion and fundraising inform this next project. The creative concept is different. These videos show our previous campaign in action.

THE TEAM IS IN PLACE. THE NEXT STEP IS FUNDING.

Fund the launch.
Back the delivery.

We have a campaign manager, a campaign team and a costed plan. We’re seeking seed funding to get the campaign up and running and deliver the project.

Put the team and plan into action

Fund the campaign manager and team to mobilise delivery, coordinate participating organisations and establish the practical arrangements for working together.

Launch the shared platform

Prepare the campaign assets, fundraising infrastructure and tools that services would use to activate their own communities. Give them the support to take part without building a campaign from scratch.

Promote, deliver and learn

Back wider campaign promotion, day-to-day delivery and reporting. Help participating services reach supporters, understand what works and build a stronger platform for future campaigns.

A CONFIDENTIAL CONVERSATION

The plan is ready
for a conversation.

The campaign concept and staged roadmap are developed. With a manager, team and costs identified, we can discuss what founding support would enable and how the project would be delivered.

The campaign identity and creative details remain commercial-in-confidence. Interested supporters can explore the detailed proposal, costed plan and delivery approach with us in a confidential conversation.

For Mentoring Men, this is a chance to help lead a shared approach to fundraising: growing support for our own work while giving other frontline services a stronger platform too.
